Im Unterschied zu einer Mensch-Roboter-Objektübergabe (Strabala und andere, 2013), dem Wechsel der tatsächlichen Verfügung über ein Objekt, ist eine Übernahmebestätigung das Signal, das eine bezeichnete Übernahme bestätigt, und es beweist diesen Wechsel nicht. Im Unterschied zu einem Übergabeangebot, einer Mitteilung, dass ein Objekt angeboten wird, ist sie die Bestätigung, nicht das Angebot. Im Unterschied zu einem akzeptierten Aufgabenabschluss, einer Bewertung, dass das Ergebnis den Bedarf der empfangenden Person trifft, bestätigt sie eine Übernahme, nicht diese Bewertung.
Unlike a human–robot object handover (Strabala and others, 2013), the transfer of practical control of an object, a transfer acceptance confirmation is the signal that confirms a specified transfer, and it does not prove that control has changed. Unlike a handover offer, a communication that an object is offered, it is the confirmation, not the offer. Unlike an accepted task completion, an appraisal that the result meets the receiving person's needs, it confirms one transfer, not that appraisal.
