KernbegriffCore term

Akzeptierter AufgabenabschlussAccepted task completion

MANITAI-DimensionMANITAI dimension: ROBMANITAI

You say, in plain words, that the result fits what you need in this situation.

Kennst du das?Ever had this?

The jar is on the upper shelf as agreed, and you say that this works for you now because you can reach it. With a robot, the same accepted completion is your explicit appraisal that the result meets your needs.

DefinitionDefinition

An explicit appraisal by the receiving person that the result meets that person's needs in the situation.

Was es nicht istWhat it is not

Unlike a successful task completion, the finding that criteria defined in advance are met, an accepted task completion is the receiving person's appraisal that the result meets their needs in the situation, and the two can come apart. Unlike reported trust, a statement of expected robot behaviour or reliability, it concerns that result, not those expectations. Unlike validation as defined in ISO 9000:2015, 3.8.13, which rests on objective evidence about an intended use, it is that person's appraisal, not that confirmation. Unlike satisfaction in ISO 9241-11:2018, the extent to which the user's responses resulting from use meet the user's needs and expectations, it is one explicit appraisal of one result, not a measured extent.

Source: RM:0096. The source separates this appraisal from completion criteria defined in advance. Reported trust is a neighbouring term in this group. An ownership check is a neighbouring term in this vocabulary. Validation in ISO 9000:2015 is an evidence-based confirmation; this entry is the receiving person's appraisal, not that process. No conformity to ISO 9000:2015 or to any other named standard is claimed.

Für OrganisationenFor organisations

Names the case in which the receiving person explicitly appraises that the result meets their needs in the situation.
