KernbegriffCore term
Entscheidung (Aufsichtshandlung)Oversight decision
Einfach erklärtIn plain words
Du wählst, was jetzt passiert – nutzen, verwerfen, stoppen oder weitergeben.
You choose what happens next – use it, discard it, stop it or pass it on. But having chosen does not mean you have checked.
Kennst du das?Ever had this?
After a trial practice you choose from the open paths whether the group continues or stops, and that choice alone does not show that some stated thing about the practice holds. With a program, you choose from the open options what happens to the output, without that choice showing that a property holds.
DefinitionDefinition
An oversight act in which the overseer selects, from the alternatives available at that point, the course of action to be taken with respect to the object.
Was es nicht istWhat it is not
Unlike a check, a decision selects a course of action and does not by itself establish that any property of the object holds. This is not a decision in the sense of the OMG Decision Model and Notation (DMN).
