KernbegriffCore term
Gemeinsame HandschriftShared handwriting
Earlier working name: Emergent personality fusion
Your combined result has a recurring style, and that style belongs neither to one contribution nor to a clear instruction for everyone.
Kennst du das?Ever had this?
You read several plain reports. After a joint rewrite they keep sounding like ads. That tone is in no single report and in no shared instruction. With programs the result has that style, assigned neither to one part nor to an overall instruction.
DefinitionDefinition
The state of a combined output that shows recurring stylistic features assigned neither to one contribution nor to an explicit overall instruction.
Was es nicht istWhat it is not
Unlike conceptual blending, a cognitive operation that projects structure from input mental spaces into a blended space (Fauconnier and Turner, 1998), shared handwriting is a pattern in a combined output, not that operation. Unlike identity fusion, a felt oneness with a group, it is not a personality and not a feeling. Unlike swarm sycophancy, it is not a pattern in which outputs conform to an earlier position while an objection goes unaddressed, and unlike phantom consensus, it is not a reading of matching outputs as independent confirmation. Unlike swarm opacity, in which observers cannot reconstruct contributions and links, this term is a stylistic feature with no assignment.
