BedeutungsfunkeSemantic spark
Upon a response from artificial intelligence, you form an idea that is not in it, and you report that idea as unexpected.
Kennst du das?Ever had this?
Someone says a sentence while planning the fair that does not contain the solution, and you form a thought of your own that you had not expected. With an AI it is the same semantic spark when a response triggers an idea that the response itself does not contain and that is reported as unexpected.
DefinitionDefinition
The moment in which one person, upon a response from artificial intelligence, forms an idea that the response does not contain and that the person reports as unexpected.
Was es nicht istWhat it is not
Unlike semantic memory (Tulving, 1972), a person's store of general knowledge, a semantic spark is not that store. Semantic in this name is the idea the person forms. Spark is the moment of forming it upon the response. The response does not contain the idea, and the person reports the idea as unexpected. The term does not grade the idea as valuable and does not grade the response. Unlike semantic ejection, the conscious rejection of a suggestion because its meaning does not fit what the person means, this moment is not a rejection. The idea may be kept. Unlike a glitch harvest, the conscious search of erroneous, unsupported, or unexpected outputs for a usable idea, the response need not be erroneous or unexpected, and no search is required.

RegelnRules
- Record the idea, whether the response contains it, whether the person forms it upon that response, and whether the person reports it as unexpected.
- Do not grade the idea or the response, and do not require the response to be erroneous.

Für NormungsgremienFor standards bodies
Source: AUG-0031. Semantic memory in Tulving (1972) is a person's store of general knowledge. Semantic ejection and a glitch harvest are neighbouring terms in this vocabulary. No conformity to a named standard is claimed.
Für OrganisationenFor organisations
Names the case in which one person, upon a response from artificial intelligence, forms an idea that the response does not contain and that the person reports as unexpected.
