KernbegriffCore term
You consciously reject a suggestion because its meaning does not fit, not for a factual error, the style or the tone.
Kennst du das?Ever had this?
In an evening language course you reject a last sentence because it does not say what you mean, although it is correct and the tone fits. With an AI it is the same rejection for meaning, not for a factual error.
DefinitionDefinition
The moment in which a person consciously rejects a suggestion generated by artificial intelligence because its meaning does not fit what that person means, not because of a factual error and not because of style or tone.
Was es nicht istWhat it is not
Unlike semantic memory, a person's memory for general knowledge (Tulving, 1972), a semantic ejection is one conscious rejection of a suggestion because its meaning does not fit what the person means. It is not a rejection for a factual error, and it is not a rejection for style or tone. Unlike an oversight check, it does not examine whether a property named beforehand holds. Unlike an oversight decision, it is that rejection, not a choice among courses of action for an object.

RegelnRules
- Record one conscious rejection and the reason that was used.
- Set reason_meaning_misfit only when the meaning does not fit what the person means. A factual error, and style or tone, are not this rejection.

Für NormungsgremienFor standards bodies
Related literature: semantic memory in the sense of Tulving (1972) is a different use of the word semantic. No conformity to that work is claimed.
Für OrganisationenFor organisations
Names the case in which a person consciously rejects a suggestion because its meaning does not fit what that person means, not because of a factual error and not because of style or tone.
