MANITAI-DimensionMANITAI dimension: ENTMANITAI

You see an AI turn a word, a view, or a name that is special to you into the common version from its training texts.

Kennst du das?Ever had this?

Your band is called Kaylee's Kats, and the AI writes Kaylee's Cats. It is the same pull when a meaning, a position, or a name that is special to one entity is shifted toward the training texts.

DefinitionDefinition

The shift, by a generative model, of a meaning, a position, or a proper name that is specific to one named entity toward the distribution of that model's training material.

Was es nicht istWhat it is not

Unlike regression to the mean (Galton, 1886), the statistical return of an extreme measurement toward the average on a later measurement, pull to the mean is not that statistical return. It is the shift, by a generative model, of an entity-specific meaning, position, or proper name toward the distribution of the training material. Unlike shared handwriting, the state of a combined output that shows recurring stylistic features assigned neither to one contribution nor to an explicit overall instruction, this shift is the move of one entity-specific item toward the training distribution, not an unassigned style of a combined output. Unlike a meaning slide in relay, a change of meaning that, on one stated scale, is larger at a later station than at an earlier station across at least two passings in one relay and is not corrected between those stations, this shift does not require a relay of stations.

Für NormungsgremienFor standards bodies

Source: AUGMANITAI neologism register (2026). Regression to the mean in Galton (1886) is the statistical return of an extreme measurement toward the average on a later measurement. Shared handwriting and meaning slide in relay are neighbouring terms in this vocabulary. A proper name of a natural person is personal data under the GDPR. No conformity to a named standard is claimed.

Für OrganisationenFor organisations

Names the case in which a generative model shifts a meaning, a position, or a proper name that is specific to one named entity toward the distribution of that model's training material.
