Noch laufende Handlung erneut ausgelöstPending action triggered again
MANITAI-DimensionMANITAI dimension: UXDMANITAI
You want one change, trigger it again while the first try is still running, and afterwards at least two have run.
Kennst du das?Ever had this?
You tap Pay. Nothing seems to happen, so you tap again while the first payment is still loading. Later you see that you paid twice. With an AI, you trigger the same change again before the first attempt has finished, and two executions show afterwards.
DefinitionDefinition
The state in which a person who intends one digital change triggers the same action again before the first attempt has completed, because the person takes that first attempt as not executed, and at least two executions are afterwards apparent.
Was es nicht istWhat it is not
People repeat an action when a system gives no timely response (Nielsen, 1993); a pending action triggered again needs a further trigger before the first completion and at least two executions afterwards. Idempotent methods in RFC 9110, Section 9.2.2, are request methods whose intended effect on the server is the same for several identical requests as for one; this term names the person's reading and the duplicate executions, not a method property. One activation with an additional consequence has one trigger; this state has at least two triggers and two executions.

RegelnRules
- Record the first trigger, a later trigger, the completion time of the first attempt, the time the executions become apparent, the trigger count, and the execution count.
- Set the case only when a trigger falls before the first completion, the trigger count and the execution count are each at least 2, and the reading of the first attempt comes from the stated evidence.

Für NormungsgremienFor standards bodies
Source: UXD-20261004-006. Repeating an action when response is delayed is a neighbouring observation (Nielsen, 1993). Related practitioner concept: double submission. Idempotent methods (RFC 9110, Section 9.2.2) are a protocol property, not this state. The belief field attributes no fault and is not for assessing individuals. No conformity to a named standard is claimed.
Für OrganisationenFor organisations
Names the case in which a person who intends one digital change triggers the same action again before the first attempt has completed, because the person takes that first attempt as not executed, and at least two executions are afterwards apparent.

Neu in Fassung 2New in version 2: the RFC 9110 sentence names idempotent methods, the evidence value excludes biometric inference, and the example is shorter.
