KernbegriffCore term
Spurverlust in der DelegationsketteDelegation trail loss
Earlier working name: Delegation-depth vertigo
You could previously say which steps a task passed through, and now you can no longer find that path.
Kennst du das?Ever had this?
In the club chat the new time went from the organiser to the coach and then into the group. You could name those stops before. Now you cannot find that path. With an AI it is the same when a task runs through several programs.
DefinitionDefinition
The state in which a named person, who could previously trace the path through the steps of one identified multilevel delegation, can no longer trace that path.
Was es nicht istWhat it is not
Unlike subdelegation, the passing of a task on through further levels, delegation trail loss is not that passing. It is the state in which a named person who could previously trace the path through those steps can no longer do so, and the number of steps does not by itself establish that state. A person who could not trace the path at the earlier time is not in this state. Unlike decision provenance loss, in which an outcome remains while its reasons, sources or authority are no longer recoverable, this term concerns the path that this person can no longer trace, and those reasons may still be recoverable. Unlike delegation skill erosion, the gradual decline of a skill the person previously performed without an AI system, this term is not a decline of skill. Unlike an audit trail, which is a record of steps, this term is the state of a named person who can no longer trace the path. The record may still exist.

RegelnRules
- Record whether the named person could trace the path through this multilevel delegation at the earlier time, and whether that person can trace it now.
- Do not infer this state from the number of steps alone, and do not record a person who could not trace the path at the earlier time as being in this state.

Source: SWAMANITAI conceptual working definition SWA26-0023. Subdelegation is the established neighbouring term for passing a task through further levels. Decision provenance loss and delegation skill erosion are neighbouring terms in this vocabulary. No conformity to a named standard is claimed.
Für OrganisationenFor organisations
Names the case in which a named person, who could previously trace the path through the steps of one multilevel delegation, can no longer trace that path.
