TonschuldTone debt
Your written sentences do not sound like you over time, and other people notice the difference from how you speak in person.
Kennst du das?Ever had this?
Your letters to the club sound smoother for months than you do on practice day, and the others notice the difference. With an AI it is the same when your texts stop sounding like you over time and other people notice.
DefinitionDefinition
The cumulative effect of repeated communication assisted by artificial intelligence in which the tone used does not match the person's own style and recipients over time notice a discrepancy between the digital communication and the in-person communication.
Was es nicht istWhat it is not
Unlike technical debt (Cunningham, 1992), this is not implied future rework in software. Unlike conversational code-switching, a speaker's own alternation of languages or styles as a contextualization cue (Gumperz, 1982), it is a discrepancy, noticed over time, between assisted digital tone and in-person communication. Unlike fluency blindness, it is not a lower check rate for more fluent outputs.

RegelnRules
- Count only communications assisted by artificial intelligence in communication_count, and compare their tone with the person's own style.
- Set discrepancy_noticed only when a recipient records a difference between that digital tone and the person's in-person communication.

Für NormungsgremienFor standards bodies
Related literature: technical debt in the sense introduced by Cunningham (1992); conversational code-switching (Gumperz, 1982). No conformity to those works is claimed.
Für OrganisationenFor organisations
Names the case in which repeated assisted communication does not match a person's style and recipients notice the discrepancy with in-person communication.
