Verlassen als SpeicherauslöserLeaving as a save trigger
MANITAI-DimensionMANITAI dimension: UXDMANITAI
You leave a field only to move elsewhere, and that leaving saves the change.
Kennst du das?Ever had this?
You type a new name in the settings and click the next box only to look. No Save button was pressed, but the new name is already stored. With an AI, leaving the field commits a change you meant only as a move.
DefinitionDefinition
The state in which leaving an input area commits the change in that area, although the person intends that step only as a move to another area and does not intend it to commit the change.
Was es nicht istWhat it is not
A post-completion error omits a final step after the main goal is reached (Byrne and Bovair, 1997); leaving as a save trigger is a move that itself commits the change, while the person intends only the move. Execution mistaken for preview needs no move between areas; here that move is the committing step. When a one-time choice becomes a default, a default is stored for later actions; here the change is committed only for the current content.

RegelnRules
- Record the uncommitted change, the input area and the destination area as distinct references, the leave time, that the leaving step committed the change, and that the person intended only the move.
- Set the intention fields only from the stated evidence, not from the leaving step alone.

Source: UXD-20261004-011. A post-completion error is the omission of a final step after the main goal (Byrne and Bovair, 1997). Execution mistaken for preview is a neighbouring term in this group. The intention field attributes no fault to the person and is not for assessing individuals. No conformity to a named standard is claimed.
Für OrganisationenFor organisations
Names the case in which leaving an input area commits the change in that area, although the person intends that step only as a move to another area and does not intend it to commit the change.
