KernbegriffCore term
OffenheitsprotokollCandor protocol
Also known as: candor marking
You mark, on a result assisted by artificial intelligence, a limitation, an uncertainty, or an open question that is in it.
Kennst du das?Ever had this?
On the note for the cake stall you add that the number of nuts is uncertain. With an AI it is the same candor protocol when a limitation, an uncertainty, or an open question is marked on the result.
DefinitionDefinition
The marking, in a work result assisted by artificial intelligence, of a limitation, an uncertainty, or an open question that the result contains.
Was es nicht istWhat it is not
Unlike Radical Candor® (Kim Scott's management approach of direct personal feedback between colleagues; Scott, 2017; a registered trademark of its owner), a candor protocol is not that feedback. It is not a duty of candour under UK health and social care regulation (Regulated Activities Regulations 2014, reg. 20), the duty to be open about harm in care. It is not the AHRQ CANDOR process, a process for disclosing patient harm. It is the marking, in the work result, of a limitation, an uncertainty, or an open question that the result contains. Unlike a network protocol, an agreed format for exchanging messages between systems, this marking is not that format. Unlike a smooth shield, the polished form that a system of artificial intelligence gives to a rough input and that conceals whether the content underneath is viable, this marking states a limitation, an uncertainty, or an open question. The form may still be polished. The term does not tell anyone to mark anything.

RegelnRules
- Record whether the result contains a limitation, an uncertainty, or an open question, and whether that item is marked in the result.
- Do not treat a polished form as this marking, and do not record a marking of an item the result does not contain.

Für NormungsgremienFor standards bodies
Radical Candor® (Scott, 2017; a registered trademark of its owner) is a management approach of direct personal feedback between colleagues, named only to distinguish it. A network protocol is an agreed format for exchanging messages. A smooth shield is a neighbouring term in this vocabulary. No conformity to a named standard is claimed.
Für OrganisationenFor organisations
Names the case in which a work result assisted by artificial intelligence has a limitation, an uncertainty, or an open question marked that the result contains.
