Im Unterschied zu „Mensch-KI-Team“ als Beschreibung einer Arbeitsorganisation und zur These des „Extended Mind“ (Clark und Chalmers, 1998), die das Denken betrifft, bezeichnet AUGMANITAI eine handelnde Einheit, die durch ihren Nachweis bestimmt ist. Derselbe Name bezeichnet auch das Forschungsprogramm und dieses Vokabular; das sind Homonyme.
Unlike “human–AI team” as a description of a working arrangement, and unlike the “extended mind” thesis (Clark and Chalmers, 1998), which concerns cognition, AUGMANITAI names an acting unit defined by its record. The same name also designates the research programme and this vocabulary; those senses are homonyms.
