Lücke beim Wegfall der ÜbungPractice-loss gap
MANITAI-DimensionMANITAI dimension: BRAMANITAI
When your repeated practice at the interface is discontinued, or you picture that, a gap remains.
Kennst du das?Ever had this?
The weekly choir is discontinued, or you picture it being discontinued, and the evening is empty. At the interface you report that same gap when the repeated control practice is discontinued or you picture that.
DefinitionDefinition
An experience, reported by a person operating a brain–computer interface, in which a felt gap arises when a repeated control practice is discontinued, or when that person pictures it as discontinued.
Was es nicht istWhat it is not
Unlike post-trial access, the research-ethics question whether a participant keeps a device or a service after a study, a practice-loss gap is only the person's reported felt gap and makes no claim about obligations. The report can concern a practice that has been discontinued or a practice the person pictures as discontinued.

RegelnRules
- Record the person, the repeated practice, the felt gap, and whether the practice has been discontinued or the person pictures it as discontinued.
- Do not record a claim about any duty to keep a device or a service as this gap.

Post-trial access is the neighboring research-ethics question about keeping a device or a service after a study. This entry is a reported felt gap and states no obligation. ISO/IEC 8663:2025 is a vocabulary for brain–computer interface technology. IEEE P2731 is a draft terminology project; a glossary proposal from that work was published in 2021. This entry records a reported experience of operating such an interface. No conformity to ISO/IEC 8663:2025, to IEEE P2731, or to any other named standard is claimed.
