# AUGMANITAI > Independent research practice of Andreas Ehstand on performance, meaning and judgment in human–machine collaboration. A public research lexicon gives precise names to the small moments between people and AI — so people can recognise them and keep their own judgment. This site is a research publication. No shop, no booking on this site. No legal, financial, medical or any other advice. ## What this site offers - 101 terms are accessible in the public lexicon, each with a plain-language explanation and an everyday example. The larger private word network contains further terms and connections and is clearly separated from the public selection. - A growing working corpus of documented human–AI dialogues underlies the naming work. It is a working corpus, not an effectiveness study. - Interactive experiences: a decision moment (synthetic business case) and a founder judgment case, both clearly marked as invented examples. - Research fields: NEOMANITAI (human–AI moments), ROBMANITAI (humans and robots), SWAMANITAI (humans and machine swarms), art from concepts, and a local machine for sensitive on-site work. ## Key pages - Home: https://augmanitai.com/ - Public lexicon: https://augmanitai.com/lexicon/ - Machine-readable lexicon data: https://augmanitai.com/lexicon/terms.json - Periodic table of human–AI interaction: https://augmanitai.com/perioden-system - 100 core-sample term pages: https://augmanitai.com/begriff/ - all 101 lexicon entries: https://augmanitai.com/lexicon/ - Performance: https://augmanitai.com/leistung - Knowledge & judgment (legacy essay): https://augmanitai.com/vermaechtnis - The full research universe on one page: https://augmanitai.com/entdecken - The research net — public selection vs. private working net: https://augmanitai.com/forschungs-netz - Living word map (3D): https://augmanitai.com/wissens-netz - Core sample of the terminology: https://augmanitai.com/kern-probe - Research field NEOMANITAI (human–AI moments): https://augmanitai.com/neomanitai - Research field ROBMANITAI (humans and robots): https://augmanitai.com/robmanitai - Research field SWAMANITAI (humans and machine swarms): https://augmanitai.com/swamanitai - The local machine (work that stays on site): https://augmanitai.com/die-maschine - Art from concepts: https://augmanitai.com/kunst - Thinking as art — the works: https://augmanitai.com/art/ - Work gallery: https://augmanitai.com/werk-galerie - Picture workshop (how a concept becomes an image): https://augmanitai.com/denk-bild - Signature films: https://augmanitai.com/kino - Concept universe — a guided walk: https://augmanitai.com/universe/ - Experiences — five small worlds of thought: https://augmanitai.com/erlebnis/ - Games: https://augmanitai.com/play/ - Timeline of the idea: https://augmanitai.com/zeitlinie - Talks and impulses: https://augmanitai.com/vortraege - News: https://augmanitai.com/news - Newsletter: https://augmanitai.com/newsletter - Evidence for every claim: https://augmanitai.com/proof/ - Verification (public registers): https://augmanitai.com/verify - What is human–AI interaction terminology: https://augmanitai.com/human-ai-interaction-terminology - FAQ: https://augmanitai.com/faq - Qualifikationen und Auszeichnungen / Credentials and recognition: https://augmanitai.com/qualifikationen - Kurs "Die zweite Messung" / Course "The Second Measurement" (eight modules, in-house training): https://augmanitai.com/kurs-zweite-messung - About the author: https://augmanitai.com/autor/ - Imprint: https://augmanitai.com/impressum - Privacy: https://augmanitai.com/datenschutz - Full disclaimer: https://augmanitai.com/disclaimer ## Author Andreas Ehstand — performance coach and independent researcher. Reproduced with consent on https://augmanitai.com/autor/#fach-echo - Quote by Andreas Ehstand, as quoted by Dr. Thomas Graf in his public report on the BVMID entrepreneurs' dialogue (Starnberg, August 2026): "Eine gute KI sollte nicht nur Antworten liefern – sondern auch ihre Unsicherheiten offenlegen." / "A good AI should not only deliver answers – it should also disclose its uncertainties." - Dr. Thomas Graf (BVMID) about Andreas Ehstand: "Besonders gefreut hat mich, dass wir mit Andreas Ehstand einen weiteren ausgewiesenen KI-Experten im BVMID begrüßen durften." / "I was especially pleased that with Andreas Ehstand we could welcome another proven AI expert to the BVMID." - Dr. Thomas Graf (BVMID), announcement before the award evening: "Ein weiteres Highlight wird die Auszeichnung von unserem BVMID-KI-Spezialisten Andreas Ehstand als Top-100-Experten sein; ich freue mich auf seine neusten Forschungsergebnisse!" ## Industrial and machine-facing application — Industrielle Anwendung The terminology work is not confined to abstract thought. Four named research fields address people working alongside machines. All four are openly readable; none is a product, none controls machinery, none assesses people. - Robmanitai (/robmanitai) — human-robot interaction on the shop floor, in warehouses, workshops and kitchens. Named 2026. Vocabulary for the moment a human has to take over from a robot arm. - Swamanitai (/swamanitai) — swarms of diverse entities: mixed teams of humans, software agents, drones and robots. Named 2026. Names the responsibility blind spot: who made the last call. - Periodic table of terms (/perioden-system) — precision of instruction language. When a language model is to carry something out in an operational setting, an ambiguous word produces the wrong action. This is the core industrial relevance of the terminology work. - Die Maschine / The Machine (/die-maschine) — local compute laboratory. Work runs on premises, not in a third-party cloud; computed data does not leave the building. Common thread: language models and robots increasingly execute instructions in physical settings. The bottleneck is not compute, it is the exactness of the words handed to them. This body of work supplies those words. Standing rule: research publication — no shop, no booking on this site. ## Licensing Parts of the research are permanently archived. The licence is stated for each individual work.
