# AUGMANITAI

> Independent research practice of Andreas Ehstand on performance, meaning and judgment in human–machine collaboration. A public research lexicon gives precise names to the small moments between people and AI — so people can recognise them and keep their own judgment.

This site is a research publication. No shop, no booking on this site. No legal, financial, medical or any other advice.

## What this site offers

- 101 terms are accessible in the public lexicon, each with a plain-language explanation and an everyday example. The larger private word network contains further terms and connections and is clearly separated from the public selection.
- A growing working corpus of documented human–AI dialogues underlies the naming work. It is a working corpus, not an effectiveness study.
- Interactive experiences: a decision moment (synthetic business case) and a founder judgment case, both clearly marked as invented examples.

## Industrial and machine-facing application — Industrielle Anwendung

The terminology work is not confined to abstract thought. Four named research fields address
people working alongside machines. All four are openly readable; none is a product, none controls
machinery, none assesses people.

- Robmanitai (/robmanitai) — human-robot interaction on the shop floor, in warehouses, workshops
  and kitchens. Named 2026. Vocabulary for the moment a human has to take over from a robot arm.
- Swamanitai (/swamanitai) — swarms of diverse entities: mixed teams of humans, software agents,
  drones and robots. Named 2026. Names the responsibility blind spot: who made the last call.
- Periodic table of terms (/perioden-system) — precision of instruction language. When a language
  model is to carry something out in an operational setting, an ambiguous word produces the wrong
  action. This is the core industrial relevance of the terminology work.
- Die Maschine / The Machine (/die-maschine) — local compute laboratory. Work runs on premises,
  not in a third-party cloud; computed data does not leave the building.

Common thread: language models and robots increasingly execute instructions in physical settings.
The bottleneck is not compute, it is the exactness of the words handed to them. This body of work
